Position: Expeditor (Expo).
Purpose:
Ensure every plate is accurate, complete, and delivered to guests quickly while maintaining Jimmy's Egg's quality and presentation standards.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate communication between the kitchen and servers.
- Check every plate for accuracy before it leaves the kitchen.
- Verify correct temperatures, portion sizes, and presentation.
- Add garnishes, toast, condiments, and side items as needed.
- Ensure all ticket items are included before food is delivered.
- Organize tickets so orders are sent out in the proper sequence.
- Notify cooks immediately of missing or incorrect items.
- Keep the expo station clean, stocked, and organized.
- Assist servers by running food when needed.
- Maintain a sense of urgency during busy periods.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Help create a positive team environment by communicating respectfully with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant.

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
