Position: Expeditor (Expo).

Purpose:
Ensure every plate is accurate, complete, and delivered to guests quickly while maintaining Jimmy's Egg's quality and presentation standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

Coordinate communication between the kitchen and servers.
Check every plate for accuracy before it leaves the kitchen.
Verify correct temperatures, portion sizes, and presentation.
Add garnishes, toast, condiments, and side items as needed.
Ensure all ticket items are included before food is delivered.
Organize tickets so orders are sent out in the proper sequence.
Notify cooks immediately of missing or incorrect items.
Keep the expo station clean, stocked, and organized.
Assist servers by running food when needed.
Maintain a sense of urgency during busy periods.
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
Help create a positive team environment by communicating respectfully with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.
